Trade Policy Research Networks
Trade Integration and Growth Network
The LACEA - IDB - CAF - Trade, Integration, and Growth Network (TIGN) aims at building a network of economists working on issues related to the linkages between trade, integration, and growth, with a focus on Latin America and the Caribbean, and facilitate exchange of ideas between these researchers and policymakers in countries in this region.
In pursuing these goals, the network organizes an annual conference consisting of paper sessions, where innovative and policy-relevant papers are presented and discussed, and a policy panel addressing specific policy issues, where policymakers are invited to present and debate with researchers.
Euro-Latin Study Network on Integration and Trade
The Inter-American Development Bank, through its Special Office in Europe, the Institute for the Integration of Latin America and the Caribbean and the Integration and Trade Sector, launched the Euro-Latin Study Network on Integration and Trade (ELSNIT).
This initiative creates a forum in Europe on regional integration and trade issues relevant to Latin America and the Caribbean. The main objectives of the Network are to generate research, studies and debate on these issues; draw on the rich European experience; and increase interaction between European and Latin American researchers.
Trade Policy Research Seminar Series
The INT Trade Policy Research Seminar Series aims to create a forum to discuss trade policy issues relevant for Latin American and Caribbean countries based on rigorous empirical research that informs the design of policies and help understand their determinants and economic impacts. Presenters are primarily guest researchers. Participation is open to all interested parties.
